Don't have a clue how much they used all I know is that it was reported that the bleach use is what caused the sinks to have to be replaced.

I think someone put something else in the sink and blamed it on the bleach. Possibley drain cleaner.
It's 1/2 cup of bleach to a full sink of water, the sinks for dishwashing are pretty deep, so there is no way, that amount of bleach could eat through the stainless. If it did, all restaurants would be replacing their sinks every couple of years. My sink was 2 1/2 years old and it didn't even have a pit mark in it, and I used plenty of bleach.
I gotta tell you this. One time I worked down in Seabrook, right on the bay, and the building was up on stilts. The sink drains backed up, so, I sent one of the guys to the store for draino, the little store didnt' have any, he brings back lye crystals, it said it cleans drains, so I pour it down, it needed a second shot, so I gave it some more. Pretty soon the drain was running real good. Then my boss comes in, and wants to know why we have a shower under the building.
The lye, had eaten holes in the copper pipes, and it was just like a shower under there!
Good thing he liked me, or else I would have been looking for another job!
