I would think that showing a Super Bowl at church would violate their sabbath, not to mention being a sacrilege to a house of worship? This is news to me, since when have churches been having Super Bowl parties in their sanctuaries? I thought that evangelical churches teach the doctrine that the US law is predicated upon the 10 Commandments, it appears that it only applies part of the time so long as it is convenient as far as the Calvary churches are concerned. Isn't the 4th Commandment rather explicit in its meaning? Personally I don't care what they do and when and what they watch, but I sure get po'd when they start harping how the Ten Commandments, this and the Ten Commandments that!

That said, who does the NFL think it is to tell people what they can and can't show on their own property and premises? It is a stupid ass claim by the NFL. This church isn't packaging it as their product and selling it for a profit. So what if they charge admission to cover the food costs?
