Bill, it sure would. It would be a hell of a series, too. The Astros are playing lights-out ball right now. They are getting great pitching - and wow, Beltran, can that kid ever hit and play baseball? He is the best young player in baseball today. He does everything, hit for power, throw, catch, and run - and he is down to earth and respectful. If Houston doesn't find a way to resign him they are making a big mistake. I'd love to see the Angels get him, and they are interested, but the Yankees are as well. Speaking of the Yankees, I hope to hell that Boston kicks their butts tonight. That shameful display by their fans - the worst in baseball - was atrocious. CRod definately hit that ball out of the fielder's hand intentionally, and when Ortiz stole that base the game before last, he was clearly safe as Jeter was late with the tag. I hope the Sox excise that so-called 'curse'.

"America's abundance was created not by public sacrifices to "the common good," but by the productive genius of free men who pursued their own personal interests and the making of their own private fortunes. They did not starve the people to pay for America's industrialization. They gave the people better jobs, higher wages adn cheaper goods with every new machine they invented, with every scientific discovery or technological advance -- and thus the whole country was moving forward and profiting, not suffering, every step of the way."
