This doesn't work.

Mrs. 40 is a retired school teacher. There was a salad bar at the school where she worked and it failed miserably. As obvious as it is, I'll say it anyway; kids are not adults, they don't serve themselves like adults. It took them forever to go through a salad bar with many putting items on their plate and then changing their mind and removing it. She said it was a disaster...a disaster that was ended after just 2 months.

Wasting taxpayer money is not a rare occurrence in public education. Her school also installed an elevator in the auditorium that went just 4' to the stage. A ramp would have cost $5,000 but the elevator cost $50,000. They did this because ONE child was in a wheelchair and ONCE A YEAR they had a "Winter Holiday Play". Two years later the kid was at the middle school next door and they built another elevator for his use there. I'm not sure what they did when he reached high school but both elevators are still in place and neither one is ever used.
