I think that you're right, Mike.

To take the emotion out of it, I put a wide stop-loss order on the SLV ETF that I own today, knowing that it could get very volatile. I am still taking a chance and relying on my discipline with the GLD ETF.

I sense that in the intermediate term, the precious metals have still not seen their highs. But it's a cinch that with the asymptotic recent rise that there is going to be a sell-off soon. The mathematically less-inclined analysts call the curve the "left side of the Eiffel Tower". I find that amusing.

I'll decide about the gold depending on how everything else is behaving during any correction.
