John Edwards (D) - - - - - - - - A - - - A - - A A A + 13

If you go to the link in the first post you will find a map. If you click on any state on that map you will get an instant rating for your congressman or senator. In North Carolina for example Elizabeth Dole and John Edwards are shown as they voted on 20 bills selected to judge all legislators by. It shows Elizabeth getting a score of 80 out of a possible 100. Edwards gets a 13 which is right down there with the most liberal of all senators. It also shows him absent for five votes out of 20.

Remember this is the conservative rating. She obviously measures up while he obviously does not.

For a comparison Ted Kennedy got a 10 while John Kerry matched Edwards exactly with a 13.

"Democrat" Zell Miller of Georgia got a 75 while Georgia's other senator Saxby Chambliss got a 90.

Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer both got ratings of 10. It is very clear from that rating where our legislators rank. Florida's two democratic senators both rated at 20, meaning they voted 20% of the time with the conservatives.

I also found it absolutely fascinating that John McCain had an identical rating with Georgia's Democrat Zell Miller (75) while Jon Kyl had a rating identical to Saxby Chambliss' (90).

I HAVE NEVER FAILED TO VOTE IN MY 74 YEARS. HOW ABOUT YOU?

Some people make great speeches, some perform great deeds. Seldom are they the same person
