Ed, I changed the headline to show more folks they could also find something interesting.

For example I found the following. Only one senator had a ZERO rating and it shocked me. He is none other than Joe Lieberman. I will no longer refer to him as a moderate.

Also only 3 senators had perfect 100. They are Ensign NV, Hagel NE and Nickles OK. I had thought Hagel was one of the more liberal Republicans but apparently he is simply speaking his mind on things but when it comes to casting his vote it is another thing. Only one other senator ranked over 95 and that was John Sununu of N.H. with a 96.

In Congress only two Congressmen had scores of 100 and they are Wamp TN and Pence IN. Jim DeMint of SC had a 96 and he is the leading candidate in the primary for the Senate. He is running to replace Fritz Hollings. No Congressman had a ZERO rating.

One of the highest (if not the highest) ratings for a Democratic congressman was Sanford Bishop GA with a 44. Bishop is black and represents a white district in the deep South. Now I understand how he gets elected all the time. His voting record is definitely moderate....with a 44.

Most ultra liberals in both the Senate and House had ratings of from 10 to 15. Only a few dropped below 10. There are some surprises in that list too but I'll leave it to you to do your own digging. :) These ratings are for the year of 2003.

I HAVE NEVER FAILED TO VOTE IN MY 74 YEARS. HOW ABOUT YOU?

Some people make great speeches, some perform great deeds. Seldom are they the same person
