Wolf, if the current polls are to be believed, only about a third of Scots want independence. So many who voted for the SNP won't actually vote for independence. No doubt that slippery politician Alex Salmond will use the vote to further his own ends whatever it is.

Wolf, it was your favourite politician Blair that brought all this on with his devolution plans, which Labour thought would kill the SNP stone dead, along with the Scottish parliament using proportional representation as their voting system, but it seems the Scots thought otherwise at the last Scottish vote!

It certainly is ironic that the next two years will see a lot of effort going into this debate when there are plenty of other things to worry about. It is also ironic that, if there is a referendum to be had, it should be one on the future of the UK in the EU, not Scotland in the UK!!
