I don't know about anywhere else, but we have a lot of local family owned banks around, even in Houston as big as big a city as that is.

A lot of people are getting sick of the impersonal service you get at the big banks, not to mention the ridiculous fees and rules.

Do you know that if you walk into a Wells Fargo bank, with cash money, you cannot buy a cashier's check unless you have an account there!

Does that make any sense at all?

Reason is to stop money laundering. imagine a Drug dealer walking into ban with 10Gs buying MO and walking out, He just cleaned up the money, with out it being traceable, but most banks will issue MO for smaller amounts $1,000 or less without an account
