The problem is the concept of nudge is not a bad idea. It simple says are their things that can make society better. 401K plans are a great example. If people have to sign a document to enroll in a 401K plan about 35% actually save for retirement. If people have to sign a document to participate 75% save for retirement. On the assumption we all agree saving for retirement is a good thing nudging people to enroll is a good thing.

Problem is these fools are using the system to get the undereducated to do what they "the political elite" want them to do.
