FLDS members deny children were abused and say the state is persecuting them for their faith.
She said that if one of the men fell out of favor with the FLDS, his wives and children would be reassigned to other men.

Children are not able to give a nod to consensual sex. So IF the members of this sect believe that sending their daughters to have sex with 50 year old men is ok because of a directive of their "prophet" naturally they would not view it as abuse. The law being in direct conflict with their beliefs is the winner on that count. And don't tell me that there was nothing funky with the bedroom they located in the church. A bedroom that was well hidden from everyone. You don't swap wives and kids like they're a commodity on the stock market and strip them of their identities unless you're trying to hide something. What it is they're trying to hide I don't know, but their actions surely suggest something untoward has been going on in that compound.

That they would take 400+ kids away, on the alleged abuse, of one missing 16 yr old.
According to most of the information I have read they (law enforcement) had an informant on the inside of this cult. So at this point in time I do not believe they relied on one phone call. Until there is evidence that says there was no informant I will accept that they did indeed have an informant.

If the judge was smart she'd do this case by case. To have such a free-for-all in a courtroom is only going to lead to a dismissal of charges should there be charges filed in the future against certain individuals/adults.
