CAPTA, Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act 2003, allows CPS authorities to go in to anyones dwelling and remove children if same CPS authorities have some evidence that the children are in danger. CAPTA doesn't care if you're an individual or a church or living in a compound, that legislation allows CPS to do exactly what Texas CPS did, remove children.

Once anyone in law enforcement enters private property (for which they were summoned in the first place) and sees evidence of or has a belief that an individual and/or individuals are in immediate danger they can legally proceed. Anybody remember LAPD breaking into OJ's mansion based upon blood they found in his Bronco????

Let's not forget, those same authorities had an "insider" in that compound. That fact was reported several times in the initial days after the children were removed. Apparently a lot in media have conveniently forgotten about it. We still do not know the entirety of the evidence CPS presented to the judge that allowed them to enter that compound and remove those children. We probably will not know the complete information until the entire matter gets resolved.

Has anybody ever talked to a person raised in one of these places after they grew up? Just askin.
No not personally although I've read some of their accounts at a website dedicated to removing folks from cults and I've also seen some tv interviews of former FLDS members.
