Just because the state has a law on the books in no way makes it constitutional.
Agreed. State workers are not guaranteed immunity in regards to the Constitution. What this type of state legislation appears to do however is to make it harder for people to sue.

I've been doing a lot of reading regarding CPS, law enforcement etc., and the constitutional rights of these parents and their children. SCOTUS has heard many of these types of cases in years past and there are quite a few I still have to read through.

Having said that, I still do not know what the entirety of evidence was that the CPS based getting a warrant. I also don't know if the parents of these children gave permission for the CPS workers to conduct interviews once they were presented with the warrant and CPS was in the compound. I don't know if those workers lied to the parents in order to GET those interviews or not.

There is still so much I don't know that I'm not willing to accuse the agency of anything, yet.
