Jaded, here is the link to the latest as of July 2 am. This map is changed every morning and evening. We had more lightening on Saturday night and our county alone has another 10 fires. When they expand then they are described as complexes as they join. Our local chamber president talked to the incident commander for our area out of Redding and he told him 1475 fires total as of this morning. The winds always come up at night, which makes it worse. In some remote areas they are choosing to allow the fires to burn so long as there is no danger of houses burning. However, with the Kurak native lands in the area at Dillion Creek, they are watching that closely in some of the area.
