If you see somebody walking across a busy street with their eyes closed, wouldn't you call out to him? If the guy made a habit out of it, wouldn't you take him aside and warn him? Wouldn't you tell him that if he kept that up that sooner or later he's going to get run over?

Christians are specifically instructed in Scripture to instruct and admonish one another when necessary. As a matter of fact, Catholic theology holds that if we see someone who is behaving sinfully that we are to tell them that what they are doing is wrong. If we fail to do so, maybe because we 'don't want to get involved' or 'we don't want to butt in' or whatever, then we are as guilty of sin as they are.

Atheists like to say, "Don't stuff your religious BS down my throat!" But it is the duty of the Christian to warn people when they're crossing the line. Just like you'd warn somebody who insisted on jaywalking or running through traffic with their eyes closed.

If they don't want to listen then that's their business. I'm a firm believer in letting people go to Hell in their own happy-go-lucky way. I don't judge. That's between them and God. But at least on Judgment Day I'll be able to say that I tried.

1. 1 Corinthians 4:14
I do not write these things to make you ashamed, but to admonish you as my beloved children.

2. Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

3. 1 Thessalonians 5:14
And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.

Pro-lifers are the only group of people who do not get called what they call themselves. They are called "anti-choice". So be it. That makes abortion supporters "anti-life" or "pro-death". - BK
