If that is what we are going to have to make our selection from, then I am solidly for a "do over".

John McCain is totally unaceptable to me due to various positions he's taken over the past several years. I simply will not vote for him.

Rudy Giuliani is almost out of it--just not close enough to being out of it. Rudy is a RINO who wants to think of himself as some sort of conservative--he just can't believe no one else shares his views.

Politically Mitt Romney is a better looking version of Rudy, I don't care at all about appearances--not a bit more than I care about RINOs.

Then finally we have Mike Huckabee, probably the one man the "liberals" would most like to face in November. All of the bad that may be said of George W. Bush may generally be applied equally well to the "Huckster", together with his own unique set of problems.

It seems apparent at this time the ASP nominee will be either "Hussein Obama" or "Monica's ex-boyfriend's wife". Both are actually incredibly weak candidates insofar as ability to win a national election are concerned. John Edwards is more electible than either of them. I fail to understand why the ASP's desire to go with a loser makes it incumbent upon the GOP to do the same.

If the selection is to be made from among those four losers, it will probably be John McCain, I'm rather wildly indifferent with regard to the chances of any of the four men in whom I have absolutely no trust or faith and to whom I will give no support.
