Contrary to certain Chinese philosophies, "The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend."

Monica Lewinsky's ex-boyfriend's wife most assuredly qualifies as my enemy, as does Hussien Obama. But merely standing in opposition to them doesn't qualify anyone for my support.

There is nothing that could ever put me in either the McCain or Giuliani political camps as I consider both to be potentially more damaging to the nation than the two ASP wannabes--either would have a measure of bipartisan support in Congress, something Hillary and Barack wouldn't have available. All four of these "great patriotic Americans" share common goals, they differ only in degree. All four are anathema to our way of life and political system.

I'll still back Fred Thompson as long as he's in the running, there is always a chance enough people may come to their senses. Fred is the last fully acceptable candidate on my list, now that Duncan Hunter has dropped out.

If Fred too abandons this chance to save our country, then I suppose all that is left is the least objectionable of the remainder. In this case I hope that is Mitt Romney--as sad as that is.

I might be able to vote for him if I hold my nose very tightly, but I can never campaign for him. The Democrats are most certainly the enemy, but Mitt isn't necessarily my friend--in fact, I don't trust him at all.
