My guess is that George is collecting a Texas pension while he is President. Government pensions are a good deal. In St Louis they have a real neat one. We have a state police commission that runs the city police department, has to do with the civil war. There are 7 commissioners and they usually last no more than 6 months and then they step down. The position pay is silly low $200 a month, but ex commissioners get free family health care for life. Every local or state politician who is not reelected somehow becomes a commissioner for a few months. Damn politicians are just looking out for themselves.

Gov. Steve Beshear, in Bowling Green on Monday to discuss pension reform, said those changes will come because actuarials determined that city and county governments could implement a one-time reduction in the percentage they are contributing to the County Employee Retirement System.

Looks like another politician's solution to a problem. Find a band-aid fix to a problem that will last until I ma out of office. Politician's dumping the problem on future generations is just old.
