ST. PETERSBURG --http://www.baynews9.com/article/news/2011/august/294899/Pizza-employees-turn-tables-on-would-be-robberFor the third time in about a week, the intended victims of the crime fought back and won.
Two pizza shop employees at 34th Street South left work early Friday morning.
Police say a 17-year-old boy held a gun to one of the men's heads and demanded money. That's when the man body-slammed the would-be robber and the other employee pulled out his gun.
"I turned around and threw him to the ground," said Joshua Harris. "In about three seconds he was on the ground and thanking me for not shooting him, " said Jason Bennett, who has a concealed weapons permit.
